When I click and drag across text with my Type tool (T), sometimes the resulting selection falls short of what I wanted. Is there some way to add to a selection without having to click and drag with my mouse again?
Yes! Select some text, and give this a try. Hold down your Shift key and press your Right Arrow key to add one character at a time after your current selection. Use the Shift key and the Left Arrow to add one character at a time before the selection. And, you guessed it, the Down or Up Arrows to add one line below or above respectively. If you start selecting with one Arrow and then switch to the opposite Arrow with your Shift key still pressed, the select will decrease with each click.
